I explain the noise, the guy (owner, I think) says it's probably the brake pads, quotes me $280, I say fine, do it, I need the car by Friday for a trip. Friday comes. I go pick it up. Pay the bill, get in the car, pull out of the lot... same noise. Exact same noise. So I turn around and go back. Me: "Hey, this is the same sound I came in with." Him: visibly annoyed "We replaced the pads. That's what you asked for." Me: "Right, but the noise is still happening, so something's still wrong?"
