This has been the Republican Party’s messaging for as long as I can remember. It’s so basic, no specifics, no data, just the same tired talking points used to justify regressive tax policies. I don’t think California is perfect, but what state is? Ridiculous to portray California as an economic failure when, if it were a country, it would be the fourth-largest economy in the world.

Agree! They are out there knocking doors and doing the work, while Rs just rely on chamber and other special interest groups for speaking opportunities.
