About Ethan.

Hello! My name’s Ethan. It’s really nice to meet you.

I’m a designer and writer, and this is my little website. I treat it like a worry stone: it’s a place where I tinker and explore while the world’s on fire, and play with new design ideas to see what works. (And what doesn’t.) I treat my journal and my stream as places to jot down things I’m thinking through, and generally build some time and space for myself.

I grew up in rural Vermont, and part of me will always think of it as home. But until I move back, I’m happily installed right outside of Boston, where I live with my wife and our two kittens. I while away my days in my tiny home office, though I try to get out for long runs along the river as much as possible. In my spare time I play (probably too many) video games, and spend a completely normal amount of time thinking about The Locked Tomb series.
