“Shh...” Mickey tried sneaking out from under Ian’s arm but the taller man drew him back against his chest.
“Noooo. Not allowed. You stay right here.” Ian found the spot where Mickey’s neck became his shoulder and started kissing and nipping at it. He ran his hand from Mickey’s hip up across his torso leaving a trail of goosebumps on his skin. Mickey scraped his short nails against Ian’s scalp at the back of his head, he could barely hold his smile back, but he persisted in pulling away. Ian made a soft whine to express his disappointment.
“Gotta get up – wedding shit to do. I’ll bet you Mo’s already texted me like, 57 times.”

Pinching the filter between his lips, he holds the phone and goes back to the group text. Before typing the message, he again sorts through the list of names he’s intending on contacting. He needs to make extra sure he’d weeded out the severe addicts, the most likely to serve hard time, and junior high dropouts.
Admittedly, when it comes to his generation of Milkovich cousins, that doesn’t leave many people. For the hell of it, he adds Mandy, Iggy and Colin to the list, just to cover all of his bases. He puts the phone face down on his chest, takes another drag. The exhaled smoke curls out of his nose and by the time it’s completely dissipated into the air, he thinks he’s as ready as he’ll ever be.
How the fuck do I even word this question? He thinks.
Swiping his thumb across the screen he types:
