    Why do rich people stir stuff up? Because they can, and they can use it as leverage on governments to try and get their way. The implicit message is "nice premiership you've got there. It'd be a shame if you lost it because of some riots I stirred up."

    Every now and again I visit Twitter/X to see what madness is going on. It never disappoints. That the WordPress leadership chooses to talk and act like this is quite astonishing. Thankfully there's more to the project than them, and being open source protects us. But still.

    The OBR report leak is a fascinating example of how being predictable and how not understanding your CMS in detail can really leave you with your pants down when it comes to your data security.
