The cephadm SMB service configures shareable IPC mode for the samba containers. The code includes a comment that it is explicitly wanted. The Redmine issue was actually opened for the Cephadm Compatibility doc that lists supported Podman versions. I hesitate to modify those documents just because of this one service but I can also see how the docs could be confusing. I feel like making it clear in the SMB Service doc might be enough. |
